Is the product truly natural?
Yes, the product is made out of a food grade garlic base and is natural and is drinkable.
What is it made of?
The ingredients are quite simple: Garlic Base Oil is the key. The rest is mostly water and natural base mold and mildew preventor.
How and where is the product manufactured?
Eco-Tick has combined resources with a nationally known manufacture to produce this one-of-a-kind product in Canada. An NDA was signed to produce it specifically for Eco Tick. It is 100% Canadian made.
Is a chemical based treatment more effective on ticks and mosquitos than garlic?
At first spray the chemical pesticide will knock down a tick or Mosquito right away, but the after math on the environment is not ideal. The chemical based treatment kills everything that is touches: birds, snakes, butterflies, bees, etc.
How effective is your product?
We have proven the effectiveness of our product with many clients. Consistency is the most important part of our application process. As well as exercising the professional application with high-powered efficient equipment.
Does Health Canada Back the product?
Health Canada does back Garlic Oil spraying because of Eco-Tick awareness and our proven technics, to its success in the past years. We are the original Garlic Company to prove there is a safer way.
If it deters wasps it must have an effect on honeybees also?
The honeybee can be affected by any type of garden spray. Studies have suggested that with properly managed applications, garlic's effects on bees are minimal. It is important to know and understand the best practice for application in order to reduce the likelihood of affecting a bee.
Does the product work on all ticks or is it a specific species?
In North America all Ticks have the same DNA, so from Deer tick to Asian Tick they will all be affected the same. When spraying for ticks the Garlic will suffocate the tick because a tick breathes from its chest area
